He has instructed security and intelligence agencies to promptly rescue the victims and ensure that the perpetrators of these despicable acts face justice.

The announcement was made through a statement signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Friday, the 8th of March, 2024.

“I have received a briefing from security chiefs on the two incidents, and I am confident that the victims will be rescued.

“ Nothing else is acceptable to me and the waiting family members of these abducted citizens. Justice will be decisively administered,” President Tinubu says.

The President expresses condolences to the families of the victims, assuring them of a swift reunion with their loved ones.

On Wednesday, suspected Boko Haram members abducted numerous Internally Displaced Persons from a camp in Gamboru Ngala, Borno State, predominantly impacting women.

Subsequently, on Thursday morning, bandits targeted the LEA Primary School in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, kidnapping numerous pupils.
