Wu highlighted the recent establishment of representative offices in Somaliland and Ivory Coast as significant milestones in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties with Africa.

TABA Chair Lin Yuan noted the association’s steady growth, now boasting over 120 Taiwanese member companies.

He described Africa as the fastest-growing market globally over the next decade and assured that TABA would continue to assist Taiwanese entrepreneurs in expanding their foothold across the continent.

Founded in 1997, TABA aims to foster robust trade relations between Taiwan and Africa by building business networks, facilitating information exchange, and protecting Taiwanese business interests.

MOFA pledged ongoing collaboration with TABA and other Africa-focused trade organizations to create more opportunities for Taiwanese companies in African markets.
