A presidential delegation, including Vice President Kashim Shettima and Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, arrived in London on Monday morning to coordinate the repatriation of Buhari’s remains.

The postponement allows for dignitaries from West Africa and beyond to attend the burial ceremony.

President Bola Tinubu has declared a 7-day mourning period, with national flags flown at half-mast as a mark of respect for the late leader.
