The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially confirmed Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo and Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim as the re-elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Anambra State, respectively.

The certificates of return were presented to them by the Supervising INEC National Commissioner, Kenneth Ikeagu, on Tuesday in Awka, two days after their victory in the November 8, 2025, governorship election.

Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, won a landslide victory, polling 422,664 votes, while his closest rival, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), scored 99,445 votes.

The election saw a total of 595,298 votes cast, with 11,244 votes rejected across the 21 local government areas.
