Hon Kolawole Babatunde, a former member of the House of Representatives and Special Adviser to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has emerged as the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.
Babatunde was elected alongside other executive members during the party’s State Congress at the International Centre and Event Centre, The DOME, in Akure, via a consensus mode of election.
Former Publicity Secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaye, was also elected as State Secretary. Governor Aiyedatiwa attended the congress, which aimed to unify the party after recent crises.
