Sporting Lagos moved closer to winning the Nigeria National League Super 4 title after a dominant 4-0 victory over Doma United in Ikenne, Ogun State, on Wednesday night.
The floodlit encounter at the Remo Stars Stadium saw Sporting Lagos produce a commanding second-half display to secure their second consecutive win of the competition.
Doma United threatened early in the game, with winger Mathew Ogenyi creating the first real chance inside five minutes, but Sporting gradually took control of proceedings.

Their pressure paid off in the 28th minute when Seun Akanji finished from close range to hand the Lagos-based side the lead after sustained attacking play.
Sporting maintained their dominance for the remainder of the first half, while Doma United struggled to create meaningful openings despite occasional counter-attacks.
The second half belonged entirely to Sporting Lagos, who increased the tempo after the restart. Shola Oladunjoye doubled the lead in the 48th minute, capitalising on defensive lapses to put his side firmly in control.
Team captain Solomon Uloko then sealed the victory with a late brace, scoring in the 81st and 88th minutes to complete a comprehensive win for the Noisy Lagosians.
The result leaves Sporting Lagos top of the Super 4 standings with maximum points from two matches following their opening-day victory over Ranchers Bees.
In the other fixture, Inter Lagos defeated Ranchers Bees 2-0 to keep their hopes alive in the competition, while Doma United dropped to third place.
Sporting Lagos now need only a draw in their final match against Inter Lagos on Friday to clinch the Super 4 title.
