Liberia’s newly inaugurated President Joseph Boakai experienced a health scare during his speech, almost collapsing and requiring assistance to leave the ceremony at the Capitol Building in Monrovia.

The 79-year-old, rumoured to be in poor health, had spoken for about 30 minutes before it became evident that he was struggling.
