Nigeria: Authorities Declare 24-Hour Shutdown of Third Mainland Bridge

The Third Mainland Bridge will undergo a complete 24-hour closure to facilitate a crucial phase of ongoing repair projects, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Works. 

Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, stated that both carriageways will be closed from 12 noon on Wednesday, February 28, to 12 noon on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
