The Safarilink plane, en route to Diani on Kenya’s coast, experienced a distressing situation shortly after take-off, prompting its return to Wilson Airport.

Fortunately, all 39 passengers and five crew members on the Safarilink flight remained unharmed.

The crash occurred approximately 10 kilometres from Wilson Airport, leading the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) to initiate an investigation into the incident, which transpired at around 10:05 local time on Tuesday.

Wilson Airport, despite being a compact yet bustling hub primarily catering to domestic flights, has witnessed several small aircraft accidents over the years.
