In a startling revelation, Senator Agom Jarigbe has accused several senior senators of receiving 500 million Naira each from the 2024 Budget, while emphasising his own exclusion from the alleged payouts.

Speaking out against accusations levelled at Senator Ningi, Jarigbe asserted, “All of us are culpable.”

The Nigerian Senate took decisive action in response to these claims, suspending Senator Abdul Ningi on Tuesday, March 12, citing allegations of budget padding.

This development has ignited reactions across social media platforms, with Nigerians expressing outrage and demanding accountability from their elected officials.

The suspension of Senator Ningi underscores the ongoing battle against corruption within Nigeria’s political landscape, with citizens increasingly scrutinising the actions of their representatives.
