Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that his recent altercation with Egyptian Forward, Mohamed Salah has been fully resolved.
The clash occurred during last weekend’s 2-2 draw against West Ham, when Salah, appeared visibly frustrated as he was about to be substituted onto the pitch. Despite declining interview requests after the game, Salah hinted at tensions, stating, “There’s going to be a fire today if I speak.”

However, Klopp addressed the issue on Friday, stating “There’s no problem. We are absolutely fine with it. It’s a non-story.” Klopp, who announced his departure from the club at the end of the season, opted to start Salah on the bench against West Ham, bringing him on as a substitute in the 79th minute. The draw effectively dashed Liverpool’s hopes of clinching the Premier League title.

The incident occurred as West Ham’s Michail Antonio scored to level the game while Salah was waiting to enter the pitch. Salah appeared agitated by something Klopp said and was escorted away by teammates Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez.
Reflecting on the incident, Klopp emphasized the importance of addressing such matters internally, irrespective of external expectations. He stated, “If we didn’t know each other for that long, I am not sure how we would deal with it, but we have known each other for that long and respect each other so much that it’s really no problem.”

Klopp also acknowledged that the ideal scenario would involve the team performing well and avoiding such situations altogether. He remarked, “The best situation would be everyone is in the best place, we win the games and score loads of goals then yes, the situation probably would not have been like that because Mo wouldn’t have been on the bench in the first place. It all depends on each other.”
