In a colorful ceremony held in the picturesque Indian Ocean nation, the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™ brand was officially revealed.

The event was attended by dignitaries including the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan, and Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) President, Elvis Chetty as the event marked a historic moment hosted by a CAF member association for the first time.

The unveiling took place at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort on Mahé Island’s south side, capturing the vibrant spirit of the islands with a captivating fire dance performed by local drummers and dancers. Chetty, also serving as chairman of the Local Organising Committee, emphasized the significant impact of hosting such a prestigious event on Seychelles, highlighting the potential for growth and development in both the islands and the football community.

The 13th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup™holds special significance as it will be the first FIFA event hosted in the Seychelles and the first-ever FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Africa. Jaime Yarza, FIFA Director of Tournaments, underscored the global reach of football by selecting diverse and fascinating locations for tournaments, with Seychelles poised to provide a stunning backdrop for the competition.

Beach soccer’s unique blend of skill and entertainment promises an exhilarating experience for fans of all ages. With its simplicity and dynamic gameplay on the sand, the sport continues to unite communities worldwide. As the countdown begins for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™, anticipation builds for an unforgettable tournament set against the backdrop of a tropical paradise.
