NFF Delegates Visit Babangida to Extend Condolences

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau, alongside with some members of the NFF Executive Committee visited former Nigeria international, Tijani Babangida to offer condolences following a tragic accident on the Kaduna–Zaria Road.

The accident resulted in injuries to Babangida, his wife, and their maid, as well as the loss of Babangida’s brother and his one-year-old son, Fadil.

The delegation included Timothy Heman Magaji, Mohammed Sanusi, Augustine Eguavoen, Jude Anyadufu, Pascal Patrick, Emmanuel Babayaro, Austin Popo, Abubakar Danfulani, and Nasiru Jibril.

They met Babangida at a hospital in Abuja, where he was receiving treatment, and expressed sympathy for his losses while wishing him and his wife a speedy recovery. Babangida’s brother was laid to rest in Kaduna on Friday according to Islamic rites.
