Medina Coordinator Alhaji Ibrahim Mahmud have announced that over 13,000 Nigerian pilgrims have arrived in Medina in preparation for this year’s Hajj.
Speaking from his Medina office, Mahmud praised the pilgrims for their good conduct and exemplary behavior.
Several pilgrims, speaking to AAN TV, expressed their satisfaction with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), commending its organisation and looking forward to a fulfilling experience in Mecca.
The Hajj pilgrimage has commenced, attracting Muslims worldwide to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
This year, 718,030 pilgrims from various countries have already arrived in Medina, utilizing both land routes and the Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport. The strong presence of African pilgrims highlights the continent’s deep-rooted Islamic faith.
