Videos shared on X.com depicted the blaze, with officials from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service on-site attempting to control the situation.
Augustine, tweeting as @Chief_Augustin1 on X.com, shared a video from the scene, stating, “Christ Embassy Church on Billings Way, Oregun, is on fire. Serious fire is raging, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are working hard to put it out. Thank God service hasn’t commenced fully.”
