French club, Paris Saint-Germain Féminines have announced the signing of Nigerian Super Falcons player, Jennifer Echegini from Juventus.

Echegini has experienced a steady rise over the past two years. Her youth career included stints at Nijmegen, Charlton, Millwall, and Arsenal. During her college years, the Super Falcons star played for US-based teams Mississippi State Bulldogs and Florida State Seminoles.

The 23-year-old secured her first major move in January 2024, joining Italian side, Juventus. Echegini made a significant impact at the club, scoring ten goals and providing one assist in 14 appearances.
Her performances were crucial in helping Juventus secure second place in Serie A last season. She was also named the best under-23 player in the league. Echegini’s impressive performances attracted attention from international teams. On Wednesday, she completed a three-year transfer to French giants, PSG.

Following the completion of her deal, PSG shared a video of Okocha welcoming her to the club. Okocha is one of the most prominent figures in African football history. He spent four years at PSG between 1998 and 2002, making 84 appearances for the club before joining Bolton Wanderers. The 50-year-old played for the Super Eagles for 13 years before retiring in 2006.
