Croatian club, NK Lokomotiva Zagreb has signed 18-year-old attacking midfielder Hassan Muhammad to a five-year contract.
Muhammad, a talented number 10, was scouted from a tournament in Kaduna, where he initially played for Unity FC before moving to Ojodu FC. His impressive performances caught the eye of the Croatian club, leading to this significant move.

The young footballer has officially signed a contract with the Zagreb-based club, following in the footsteps of several Nigerian players who have made their mark at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb such as Ezekiel Henty and Iyayi Atiemwen, who have used the platform to advance their careers in European football.
NK Lokomotiva Zagreb has a reputation for developing young talents who later achieve success at more prominent clubs across Europe. Notable alumni include Andrej Kramarić, Marcelo Brozović, and Marko Pjaca.

Nigeria has a rich history of producing exceptional football talent at a very young age, with players like Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, and Mikel John Obi making significant impacts on the international scene.

Muhammad’s move to NK Lokomotiva is a promising step in his young career. By following in the footsteps of players like Kramarić, Brozović, and Pjaca, he has the opportunity to develop his skills, gain valuable experience, and eventually transition to a larger European club.
