Two-time Olympian Omotayo Olajide faced an early exit in the men’s singles table tennis round of 64 at the 2024 Paris Olympics, losing 1-4 to Iran’s Noshad Alamiyan.

Olajide started strong, winning the first set 11-6. However, Alamiyan quickly turned the match around, taking the next two sets 11-5 and 11-4.

Despite a spirited effort in the fourth set, Olajide narrowly lost 10-12. Alamiyan then secured the final set 11-8 to clinch the match.
This result matches Olajide’s performance from his last Olympic outing in Tokyo.
