English Football Club, Chelsea is reportedly negotiating to acquire Nigerian International, Victor Osimhen from Napoli, with Romelu Lukaku potentially heading in the opposite direction.

Osimhen has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, attracting interest from Arsenal and Manchester United in the past. Securing a new striker is a top priority for Chelsea’s hierarchy. Osimhen has been a prolific goal scorer for Napoli in both Serie A and the Champions League.

Chelsea is looking to offload Lukaku, who has struggled to justify his £98 million price tag and sees a potential swap with Napoli as a beneficial move. According to The Athletic, Chelsea is in talks with the Italian club to send the Belgian striker to Naples.

In return, Chelsea is reportedly aiming to secure an initial loan agreement for Osimhen, with an option to buy the 25-year-old next summer.
