Nigeria and World Record holder, Tobi Amusan concluded Team Nigeria’s athletics campaign at the Paris Olympics, narrowly missing a spot in the women’s 100m hurdles final.

Despite a strong performance, Amusan’s late start in Semifinal 1 saw her finish 3rd in her heat with a time of 12.55s, placing her 9th overall and just outside the final qualification.
While Nigeria will not take home a medal in athletics this time, Amusan’s resilience and skill were evident throughout the competition, affirming her status as a standout athlete with a promising future.
