President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi as the new Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), signaling a significant change in the leadership of Nigeria’s key security agency.

Announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, the appointment marks the elevation of a seasoned veteran within the DSS ranks.
