French club, Lille LOSC has officially signed Nigerian teenage star, Adeshina Ayodele from Beyond Limits Academy in Nigeria.
The academy announced the move on their social media platforms, confirming that Ayodele has signed a five-year contract, keeping him at Lille until 2029.
Lille managed to secure the promising forward despite competition from Belgian side, Anderlecht and an unnamed Dutch club. Ayodele now joins a distinguished group of Nigerian players who have played for Lille, including Victor Osimhen, Vincent Enyeama, and Osaze Odemwingie.
Ayodele was instrumental in Beyond Limits Academy’s successful 2023-24 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, contributing significantly to their promotion to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL). His standout performance in the Super 8 final against Nassarawa United included a crucial goal that helped secure the championship.
On the international stage, Ayodele was a key player for Beyond Limits in their historic Viareggio Cup victory in Italy, where he scored five goals and provided an assist. This achievement highlighted his potential on a global scale.
