Severe flooding triggered by torrential rains has claimed the lives of at least four people in the Tata province of southeast Morocco, according to a preliminary report from local authorities on Sunday.
The floods have also left 14 people missing, with several villages in the region severely impacted.
In the village of Aoukerda, eight homes were destroyed as water levels rose, intensifying the devastation. Rescue efforts are ongoing as authorities work to locate the missing and provide relief to affected communities.
