President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja today for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, as part of his annual leave.
In a statement, Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy, explained that the time away will serve as both a working vacation and a retreat for Tinubu to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
The statement further noted that the president will return to Nigeria upon the conclusion of the two-week leave.
“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms,” the statement reads.
“He will return to the country after the leave expires.”
