The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the procedure for the 2024/25 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Group Stage Draw, set to take place on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Cairo, Egypt.
Fans can tune in to the live broadcast, starting with the draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup at 1:00 p.m. Cairo time (10:00 a.m. GMT), followed by the CAF Champions League draw at 2:00 p.m. local time (11:00 a.m. GMT).

The 16 clubs that have secured their spots in the 2024/25 CAF Champions League Group Stage are:

Draw Format
The draw will see the 16 teams divided into four groups based on their CAF rankings, with each group featuring one team from each pot.
- Pot 4 contains the lowest-seeded teams: MC Alger, AS Maniema Union, Djoliba AC, and Stade d’Abidjan. These teams will be drawn into positions A4, B4, C4, and D4, respectively.
- Pot 3 includes Al Hilal, Orlando Pirates, GD Sagrada Esperança, and AS FAR. These teams will be assigned positions A3, B3, C3, and D3.
- Pot 2 features CR Belouizdad, Raja Casablanca, Young Africans, and Pyramids FC. These teams will occupy positions A2, B2, C2, and D2.
- Pot 1, reserved for the top-seeded teams, includes Al Ahly, Espérance de Tunis, Mamelodi Sundowns, and TP Mazembe. These teams will be drawn into positions A1, B1, C1, and D1.
