Reigning champions, Senegal will face a challenging semi-final clash against hosts, Egypt in the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024.
The two tournament favorites will meet today, October 23, at 15:00 local time in Hurghada, with the winner advancing to the finals.

Egypt enters the semi-final with confidence, having topped Group A after defeating Ghana, Tanzania, and Morocco. Senegal, meanwhile, had a rocky start with a 5-2 loss to tournament debutants Mauritania but bounced back with victories over Mozambique and Malawi to secure their place in the last four.

In the second semi-final, Mauritania, fresh off their stunning win over Senegal, will face Morocco at 16:30 local time. Mauritania, making their debut in the competition, will aim to continue their dream run and secure a spot in the final, which would also guarantee them one of the three African berths at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Seychelles next year. Morocco, on the other hand, will be looking to capitalize on their sixth tournament appearance and claim a gold medal.

The two finalists of this year’s CAF Beach Soccer AFCON, along with Seychelles, will represent Africa at the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
