Senegal solidified its dominance in African beach soccer, capturing the 2024 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations title with a resounding 6-1 victory over Mauritania in the final in Hurghada, Egypt, on Saturday.

The Teranga Lions displayed their skill and experience, adding another prestigious title to their impressive record in the sport. Despite a spirited effort from Mauritania, Senegal’s technical prowess and attacking strength ultimately proved too much, creating an insurmountable lead early in the game.

With this victory, Senegal not only reclaims the top spot in African beach soccer but also secures a spot in the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, carrying forward a renewed sense of confidence and determination.
