NNPC Limited has announced a major reshuffling of its executive team, according to a statement from Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye on Wednesday. The restructuring aims to enhance corporate governance, operational efficiency, and long-term success in Nigeria’s energy sector.
Key appointments include Mr. Adedapo A. Segun, who has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer after previously serving as Executive Vice President of Downstream. His leadership in downstream operations was praised by the board. Mr. Isiyaku Abdullahi will now serve as Executive Vice President (EVP), Downstream, while Mr. Udobong Ntia has been appointed EVP, Upstream.

The board emphasized that these changes align with NNPC Limited’s focus on strengthening leadership and operational excellence. It also thanked outgoing leaders Mr. Umar Ajiya and Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa A. Eyesan for their contributions.
