Edo Queens of Nigeria and FC Masar played out a goalless draw in Wednesday’s second match of the CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024 in Casablanca, with both sides vying for a spot in the semi-finals.

The match marked both teams’ debut at the finals, with FC Masar aiming to build on their 1-0 win over defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Edo Queens hoping to continue their strong performance after a 3-0 victory over Central Bank of Ethiopia.

Despite several opportunities from both teams, neither could break the deadlock, with goalkeepers and defenders standing firm throughout the match.

The draw keeps Edo Queens at the top of Group B with four points, while FC Masar sits just behind, also with four points. The result sets up a tense finish in Group B, with Edo Queens set to face a revitalized Sundowns, and FC Masar meeting the already-eliminated Ethiopian side. Both matches are scheduled for Saturday at 19:00 local time.
