The bill aims to expand voting rights to citizens living outside Nigeria, providing them with an opportunity to participate in the country’s elections.

Initially passed for a second reading in July and referred to the Committee on Electoral Matters, the bill was revisited on Tuesday.

Following its progress, it has now been forwarded to the Constitution Amendment Committee for further legislative consideration.
