Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has appointed Suleiman Aledeh as the substantive Managing Director of the State-owned Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS). This appointment takes immediate effect.
Aledeh brings over two decades of experience in broadcast journalism, having worked with prestigious international news channels like Al Jazeera, SABC, and GB News UK. He currently anchors news programs at Arise News and shares his insights on Classic FM.
With a strong educational background, including a degree in Philosophy from the University of Benin and a Master’s Degree in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies from the University of Lagos, Aledeh is well-equipped to lead EBS.
His impressive career spans working at Edo Broadcasting Service, Ebonyi Radio, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, TVC, and Channels Television. Aledeh has also demonstrated strong leadership in strategic communication as the Assistant General Manager and Head of Media and Communications at Eko Disco.
As a Fellow of the Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management and an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, Aledeh is poised to bring his expertise to EBS and take the organization to new heights.
