The Total Energies CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup continue to showcase the best of African club football, offering players and coaches an opportunity to etch their names into history by claiming these prestigious titles.

The group stage of the Total Energies CAF Champions League begins today November 26 with 16 teams battling for a place in the quarter-finals. Among the opening matches is a highly anticipated Moroccan derby in Group B between Raja Casablanca and FAR Rabat, promising fireworks from two historic rivals.
Debutants, Maniema Union from the Democratic Republic of Congo face a challenging start with an away fixture against South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns in the same group.

Defending champions, Al Ahly record 12-time winners, start their Group C campaign at home against Côte d’Ivoire’s Stade d’Abidjan, while Orlando Pirates return to the group stage for the first time since 2018/19 with a trip to Algeria to face CR Belouizdad.
The group stage will unfold over two months, with matchday 6 concluding on January 17th-19th 2025. The top two teams from each of the four groups will secure quarter-final spots. Al Ahly, having claimed the title in four of the last five seasons, are once again favourites to make a deep run with their wealth of experience in knockout football.

The quarter-finals of both competitions are scheduled for March 28-30 (first leg) and April 4-6 (second leg). The semi-finals will follow on April 18-20 (first leg) and April 25-27 (second leg).
