Nigerian Striker, Taiwo Awoniyi opened his Premier League goal account for the season as Nottingham Forest cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Monday night.

Awoniyi, making his 15th league appearance of the campaign, came off the bench in the 88th minute and found the back of the net in stoppage time to cap off the emphatic win.

Also featuring for Forest was Ola Aina, who made his 20th league appearance for the in-form side. Forest extended their impressive run, securing their sixth consecutive Premier League victory this season.
The visitors took an early lead just seven minutes into the match, courtesy of Morgan Gibbs-White. Chris Wood doubled Forest’s advantage in the 44th minute, and Awoniyi’s late strike sealed the three points.
The win keeps Nottingham Forest in third place on the league table, level on 40 points with second-placed Arsenal. They are now six points behind league leaders, Liverpool, who have a game in hand.

Forest will shift their focus to the FA Cup as they host Luton Town in their next match, followed by a highly anticipated home fixture against Liverpool in the Premier League.
