The Zambian government sees this visa waiver as a crucial step in diversifying the country’s economy and attracting international visitors.

By reducing barriers to entry, the government hopes to increase tourist numbers and create new opportunities for trade and investment.

Some of the countries added to the visa waiver list include Albania, Argentina, Bhutan, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Israel, Iceland, Laos, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Monaco, Morocco, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.

This list is a continuation of the Zambian government’s efforts to make the nation a key player in the global economy, following a similar visa waiver for 43 countries in 2022.
