The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced plans to organize a four-month CAF B-License Coaching Course aimed at enhancing the skills of Nigerian coaches and equipping them to tackle current and future challenges. The program is open to both male and female coaches.
NFF Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, revealed that the initiative is part of the federation’s broader strategy to develop coaching capacity across the country. The course will be delivered in multiple modules.

To qualify for the program, which is scheduled to run from April 7 to August 25, 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be an active coach.
- Possess a CAF C-License certificate used in the past two years.
- Be proficient in English (reading and writing).
- Have basic computer skills and access to a laptop.
- Own a valid Gmail account.
- Provide a medical certificate verifying physical and mental fitness for the course.
“We are targeting a maximum of 25 participants. Successful applicants will receive a CAF CMS registration link after completing a pre-course assessment. The course fee is N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only), which must be paid by March 31, 2025,” Eguavoen stated.

Last year, the NFF organized a CAF C-License program exclusively for women — a groundbreaking initiative that brought together 30 female coaches, including former Nigeria internationals. The three-module course was held between July and September 2024, further demonstrating the NFF’s commitment to developing coaching talent nationwide.
