The Swiss Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided to close investigations against CAF Secretary General, Veron Mosengo-Omba, citing a lack of facts or legal basis to proceed with legal action.
In November 2024, Mosengo-Omba voluntarily traveled to Fribourg, Switzerland, to cooperate with preliminary investigations.
CAF has welcomed the decision, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to ethics, transparency, and governance under the leadership of President Dr. Patrice Motsepe.
