The much-awaited draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 will take place on Monday, January 27, at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat will be hosted by Hollywood Star, Djimon Hounsou and Morrocan TV Personality, Nabila Kilani.
One of the evening’s hosts is Djimon Hounsou, the celebrated actor and producer from Benin. A global icon in cinema, Hounsou has garnered critical acclaim with Academy Award nominations for his roles in Blood Diamond and In America.
He was born in Cotonou, Benin, Hounsou has become a symbol of African excellence on the world stage. Beyond his cinematic achievements, he is a passionate advocate for humanitarian causes, using his platform to champion human rights and African development initiatives. His presence at the AFCON 2025 draw underscores the importance of celebrating African heritage and the resilience of its people.
Joining Hounsou is Nabila Kilani, a distinguished Moroccan television personality. Hailing from Jerada, Kilani’s journey began with her early television appearances on Al Qanat Assaghira and her breakout moment as a finalist in the 2004 show 15 Ans, 15 Talents on 2M.

A graduate of the Audiovisual and Multimedia Center of Rabat, Kilani has carved a diverse career in media, hosting hit programs such as Star Academy Maghreb and Maroc Net. She has also dabbled in cinema, starring in Les Enfants Terribles by Abdelkrim Derkaoui, and found success as a radio host with the popular nighttime show On t’écoute on Hit Radio. Kilani’s dynamic career and her connection to Moroccan culture make her a perfect co-host for this grand event.
