The Lagos State Government has announced the cancellation of its remote work policy for public servants, effective March 31, 2025.

The initiative, which was introduced in February 2024 to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal, allowed lower-grade civil servants to work from home for two days per week and senior staff for one day per week.

According to the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, the decision aligns with the implementation of the new N85,000 minimum wage and aims to improve service delivery across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

Public servants have been urged to rededicate themselves to their duties, while Accounting Officers have been instructed to ensure widespread dissemination of the directive.
