Flying Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, Daniel Daga played a decisive role for Molde FK, converting the final penalty in a tense shootout against Shamrock Rovers to secure their place in the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16.

With the aggregate score locked at 1-1 after regulation time, the match was decided by penalties. Daga stepped up under pressure and confidently slotted his shot low into the left corner, leaving Shamrock Rovers’ goalkeeper, Edward McGinty with no chance.

Beyond his clutch penalty, Daga’s post-goal celebration also caught attention. The 18-year-old lifted his jersey to reveal a message similar to the one he displayed during the Flying Eagles’ World Cup campaign: “Unless they kill God.”*

Since joining the Norwegian club, the former Flying Eagles star has impressed with his energy and confidence in midfield. As Molde prepares for a Round of 16 clash against Legia Warszawa, Daga will look to solidify his place in the team—potentially paving the way for a future move to one of his dream clubs, Liverpool or Real Madrid.
