According to Major General Onumajuru, the military is aware of Turji’s current location and is continuously tracking him.

He appealed to Nigerians to be patient, as tracking a bandit leadership can take time in some cases.

The military has also warned the people of Sokoto not to pay any protection levies to Turji, assuring them of the military’s protection.

This is not the first time the military has promised to capture Turji, who has been wreaking havoc in Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi communities.

In a related development, Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, also expressed confidence that Turji would be eliminated soon, citing the collaboration between the state government and the Federal Government, as well as the security agencies.
