Mauritius Shuts Down International Airport as Cyclone Warning Issued

Mauritius has closed its international airport as a precautionary measure after the government’s weather department issued a category 3 cyclone warning for the Indian Ocean island.

The airport’s operator, Airports of Mauritius Ltd, announced that the airport would be shut down from 1910 local time (1510 GMT) on Wednesday.
