The 14th CAF Extraordinary General Assembly is set to take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Marriott Mena House in Cairo, Egypt. The event will commence at 10:00 AM Cairo Time (08:00 GMT) and will be broadcast live on CAFOnline.com and CAF TV.
The assembly will bring together key figures in African football, including the presidents of CAF’s 54 Member Associations, representatives from the six Zonal Unions, and senior international football stakeholders. CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe will chair the meeting, where discussions on the development and future of African football are expected.

In the days leading up to the assembly, several important CAF activities will take place. On March 10, CAF Zonal Unions will hold meetings chaired by Dr. Motsepe, starting at 09:00 AM Cairo Time (07:00 GMT). The day will conclude with a friendly match featuring CAF officials and African football legends. On March 11, the CAF Executive Committee (EXCO) will meet at 10:00 AM Cairo Time (08:00 GMT) to review ongoing projects and discuss strategic plans for the continent’s football development.
Following the official assembly on March 12, CAF President Dr. Motsepe will hold a press conference in the afternoon to address key outcomes and share insights into CAF’s future initiatives.
