Fast-growing Nigerian airline, ValueJet, has officially signed a partnership agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), becoming the Official Airline of the NFF and National Teams.
The deal, sealed on Saturday at the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, aims to enhance seamless travel for Nigeria’s teams as they compete for continental and global honors.
Speaking at the event, ValueJet CEO/Accountable Manager, Capt. Omololu Majekodunmi, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the airline’s dedication to ensuring comfortable travel and timely arrivals for the National Teams at major international matches and tournaments.

“Nigeria football has a storied history and a passionate fan base. By joining forces with the NFF, we intend to bring fresh energy to the game and provide seamless travel solutions for our National Teams as they compete at home and abroad.”

Chairman of the NFF Marketing and Sponsorship Committee, Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa, who represented NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau, expressed delight at formalizing the agreement. He revealed that ValueJet had been unofficially providing travel services to the Super Eagles for over a year, earning praise from players and officials.
“I am happy that we have now formally sealed this partnership. ValueJet has been flying the Super Eagles to away matches for about 16 months, and their excellent services have been widely commended. This agreement further strengthens our shared goal of elevating Nigeria football.”
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, also commended ValueJet for its professionalism and dedication, recalling the airline’s efforts during the Super Eagles’ ordeal in Libya in October 2024, when the team was held hostage following a 2025 AFCON qualifying match.
