The Muslim Community of Lagos State (MCLS) has called for unity and prayers for peace as Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.
In a statement by the MCLS PRO, Jubril Folami, it encouraged Muslims to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan, including patience, self-discipline, and spiritual growth, beyond the holy month. The community urged Muslims to pray for peace, prosperity, and harmony in Lagos State and beyond.

The MCLS quoted the Quran, saying, “And seek help through patience and prayer… Indeed, Allah is with the patient” (Quran 2:153).
The community reaffirmed its dedication to fostering unity, understanding, and goodwill among all in society.
Alhaji Hon Muhammad Oyinlomo Danmole, President of the MCLS, and Jubril Folami, Public Relations Officer, wished all Muslims a joyful and blessed Eid Al-Fitr, embracing the spirit of gratitude and peace.
The MCLS urged Muslims to cultivate a culture of respect, empathy, and cooperation, working towards a shared goal of peace and prosperity.
The community expressed its commitment to promoting unity and understanding among all Lagosians.
