The tournament, which will take place from October 17 to November 8, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco, marks a historic milestone as the first edition of the U17 Women’s World Cup to be hosted on African soil. It will also feature an expanded 24-team format for the first time.

The official draw was held at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Rabat. The Flamingos will be hoping to build on their historic bronze medal finish at the 2022 edition in India as they prepare for a challenging group campaign.

Full Group Stage Draw:

  • Group A: Morocco, Brazil, Costa Rica, Italy
  • Group B: Korea DPR (defending champions), Cameroon, Mexico, Netherlands
  • Group C: USA, China PR, Ecuador, Norway
  • Group D: Nigeria, France, Canada, Samoa
  • Group E: Spain, Colombia, Korea Republic, Côte d’Ivoire
  • Group F: Japan, New Zealand, Paraguay, Zambia

The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will qualify for the Round of 16.

As the countdown begins to the biggest stage for youth women’s football, Nigeria’s Flamingos are set to test their mettle against some of the world’s top young talents in their quest for glory.
