The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), operating under the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), has carried out another precision air interdiction mission at a Boko Haram terrorists’ enclave in Chiraliya, within the Timbuktu Triangle, neutralising several insurgents and destroying key terrorist structures.
The mission, conducted on 6 June 2025 at about 1800hrs, was part of the ongoing Operation KALACHEN WUTA II, a theatre-wide effort to prevent large-scale terrorist attacks before, during, and after the Eid-el-Adha period.
According to intelligence sources, the air interdiction successfully targeted terrorists’ hideouts concealed under dense vegetation.
The sources said that the enemy structures were destroyed, and a significant number of fighters were neutralised in the process.
