Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, participated in the ongoing local government elections on Saturday, casting his vote at polling unit 06 at St. Stephen Nursery and Primary School, Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island.
The governor, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, arrived at the polling centre around 11:00 a.m. and voted at approximately 11:28 a.m.

Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat also exercised his civic duty earlier in the day, casting his vote at his polling unit in Oke-Balogun, Epe, at 11:05 a.m.
The elections are being conducted to fill chairmanship, vice-chairmanship, and councillorship positions across Lagos State’s 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
