President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kano State to pay a condolence visit to the family of late businessman and philanthropist, Aminu Dantata, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 94.
The President’s visit is seen as a demonstration of national unity and a mark of deep respect for the people of Kano and the legacy of the late Dantata.
Aminu Dantata was a highly respected industrialist and philanthropist who made significant contributions to Nigeria’s private sector, known for his generosity and entrepreneurship, and his philanthropic efforts touched countless lives across the country.
President Tinubu landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport around 3:30 pm on Friday, where he was received by the Kano Governor, Abba Yusuf, Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, and other top government officials.
The President is expected to pay a condolence visit to the Dantata family and extend sympathies to the people and government of Kano State over the death of the nonagenarian businessman.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf described the President’s planned visit as a powerful symbol of national unity and a tribute to both the people of Kano and the enduring legacy of late Dantata.
