The Ghana Armed Forces has cautioned the media and public commentators against spreading unverified claims regarding the recent Air Force Z-9 helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region that killed eight people, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed.

In a press release, the GAF expressed concern over speculative reports and warned that such narratives could mislead the public and compound the grief of bereaved families.
