Former member of the House of Representatives, Danjuma Shiddi, popularly known as Danji SS, has formally joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shiddi, who represented Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency in the 8th and 9th National Assembly, made the announcement in a statement to his supporters across Taraba State.
According to Shiddi, his decision to join the ADC followed careful consideration, due diligence, and wide consultations.
He stated that the ADC would serve as the platform for his political movement as preparations heighten ahead of the 2027 elections.
Shiddi, who enjoys grassroots support in Southern Taraba, urged his followers to rally behind him in the new political journey.
The former lawmaker expressed his gratitude to his supporters, describing the overwhelming support he has enjoyed since leaving the APC as proof of the strength of his movement and its resolve to serve the people.
As the Chairman of the House Committee on Internal Security in the 9th Assembly, Shiddi called on his supporters, sympathizers, and all who desire good governance to stand with the ADC in the coming political dispensation.
